Burying Our Heads in the Sand

Last year we took what we thought was our last BIG vacation as a childless couple. We thought we would be travelling this spring to bring our wee babe home. Hmmmmmm...we thought wrong.

We didn't plan a vacation for 2009 and then in the last couple of weeks things just came together.

This year we are going to take a couple of smaller holidays to break up the wait. We decided to head somewhere hot and bury our heads in the sand for awhile (it will help quiet the noise in my head) and are leaving this Friday.

I better make sure we put lots of sunscreen on our dairiares so as NOT to get sunburnt!

I plan on drinking a few of these

Yvan will undoubtedly drink some of these

all while enjoying this view!

Then at the end of April we are taking a very exciting trip to L.A. where we will get to meet these two fantastic people!

Bon Voyage!

Oh wow, I am so envious! All you people taking all these tropical vacations! All our money went into our adoption, with nothing left over, sadly... oh well, she was worth it. :)

Well I am counting on you to have some tasty tropical bevvies for me, then!

Cinn - she WAS worth every red cent - fortunately, this wait has allowed us to continue saving money (or unfortunately I guess because we don't have a referral yet)...

We would rather be spending our $$$$ on a baby- sigh!

You deserve a great trip- becasue when you come back, we are going to have to start planning our trip together- to Ethiopia (I so want to travel with you and am so ready to just go!!!)

Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. I love those photos, especially the head in the sane one.

I just spent the better part of yesterday looking for last minute March Break deals to some sunny destination. I was settled on staying home this winter until my husband suggested we should go somewhere... How can you not just check for deals. Nothing planned yet and we should probably just stay home and save our money.

Can you believe that silly bachelor. What a goof! At least Jillian is next. Go Canadian girl!!
