The Muffin Man

I make homemade raisin bran muffins every week. We like to have them as late night snacks before we go to bed with a glass of milk - well I have milk (lactose free thank you very much) and Yvan usually has orange juice. ( I know we are totally old people)

I hadn't made any in a couple of weeks because we were busy and then we were away. Last night at about 8:30p.m. Yvan said "let's make some muffins" which usually means Rana makes some muffins and Yvan eats them!

I was tired and said no - but I told Yvan it is really easy and said "Why don't you make them."

So he did!!

And I, of course, had to document this for posterity's sake!

I love The Muffin Man!

Yummy! But I would have preferred chocolate chips to raisins (just sayin'). :-)

Yeah, I'm down with Julie's recipe, chocolate much better than icky raisins. But good work Yvan!!

PS. I'm trying to freeze meals before we go to Ethiopia, so Yvan has some spare time, can he get on that for me? Thanks.

Obviously he's a keeper!!

p.s. what is up with all the raisin haters? The blogosphere is full of 'em. I say raisins PLUS chocolate chips - yum!

What's wrong with a good old fashioned raisin bran muffin? In fact I might be inspired to make some. You picked a good one Rana!

hahahahah! I loved that post! I hate raisin bran muffins however... sorry its not Yvan's baking, its the raisins. I like bran muffins just no raisins! Sorry but you're not getting a raisin loving post from me!

See, I would take the raisins, but skip the bran. Bleh.

Hilarious!!! They sure do look yummy. I think I am going to have to try it. Have you ever tried whole wheat flour? Wonder if if would work or if they would be little bricks?

Natasha! I haven't tried whole wheat yet - I have thought about it but do think they may be little bricks.

It figures.

If he starts making fabulous flourless chocolate cakes, then let me know. We'll work out a time share or something.
