Rana's Buns

So, while we wait for our next court date, I have been trying to keep myself busy.

I have been trying to convince Yvan to let me get a Wheat mill and he said finally YES!! (Thanks to Sandi and Jason for helping on that one)

I spent Sunday milling wheat and baking my brains out....I made 3 loaves of bread and 20 buns...and let me tell you....this bread. Delicious!!

The buns - even better :)

If you live in my area and want to come bake with me - let me know - I have a giant bag of wheat to get thru!!!!

Your buns are gorgeous. I don't think I've ever seen nicer looking ones. Wish I lived close enough to bake with you...

Well, everyone has said it. But I just have to jump on that dog pile. Those are some lovely lookin' buns you got there.

I think we have to go wheat free soon. Boo hoo....otherwise I would be super jealous.

Hot buns, woman!!

Sooo... where do you get bags of unmilled wheat? And wheat mills? I've never seen them at my grocery store...

I dream of fresh bread. :)

I hear you lol. I had days when I was making 3 cakes a day. I hope you would be busy soon in a different way. My the best wishes to you both. And yes, you know how to bake nice buns.

Oh God, I can smell them from here!!!

If you find yourself with an excess of baked goods in the house, send 'em my way - especially if there's chocolate involved!

That is great!! I also got a mill(thanks Sandi!) and bake 10 loaves every 2 weeks. I love the flour and now my pizza crust is all whole wheat instead of half and half. I would really like your bun recipe. Willing to share? I have my own, but yours look better. I will never buy a bread product from the store again!

This is me whining. I want a wheat mill tooooooooooo. I hereby request another post about how/where you bought it and how/where you buy wheat.

Now you need to serve them with honey from your own hive.

;)

So... is this an electric mill? Or are you also building arm muscles?
